The walks are between 4 and 12 miles long.
EASY - walks of 4 to 6 miles with easy terrain and limited height gain
MODERATE - walks of 6 to 10 miles with some short sections of rougher terrain and height gain of up to 2,000 feet on some walks
STRENUOUS - walks of 6 to 12 miles, with some sections of rough ground and height gains of up to 3,000 feet on some walks
You need to be able to do walks of this length in order to enjoy the holiday. As we are centre based you can always take a rest day. We also are able to create shorter options on most days.
The climate is superb for walking from October through to May. June to September can get too hot, although once up on the mountain tops it can be very pleasant even in the height of summer. The Costa Blanca has probably the best climate in Europe for walking from late summer to late spring. It does rain sometimes of course, and on rare occaisions there can even be snow on the mountain tops. Most of the time light clothing is fine, but do be prepared for colder weather just in case. You will also need sunglasses and a cap - especially in April, May, and through until the end of October.

The graph shows average amount of days (24h) with precipitation during a month. When precipitation has surpassed 1mm per day (24h) it is defined as a day with precipitation.
